Biography:
Dr. Firasat Hussain is an Assistant Professor, Cholistan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He got his BS(HON) Microbiology Degree from Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST), Kohat in 2008. He joined the “Yunnan Institute of Microbiology, Yunnan University, Kunming”, China under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wen Jun Li. Apart from his PhD studie. His areas of Specialization are Molecular Biology and Bacteriology. In 2018, He joined Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur as Assistant Professor. He is actively involved in teaching and research activities in the Department of Microbiology.
Subjects of specialization: Isolation, pathogenic microbes of veterinary and human importance, Probiotic Bacteria, Bacterial Diversity, Microbial Ecology
